Day 01Arrival at Bagdogra – Transfer to Gangtok (130 km / 4-5 hrs)

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and drive to Gangtok, the enchanting capital of Sikkim. Nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, Gangtok captivates visitors with its misty hills, lush rice terraces, gushing rivers, and distant snow-capped peaks.
En route, soak in the beauty of the landscape.
Check into the hotel upon arrival.
Evening: Free to explore the vibrant MG Marg & Mall Road – ideal for shopping and local cuisine.

Day 02Full-Day Gangtok City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a day of sightseeing covering:
Banjhakri Falls – A beautiful landscaped park with natural falls and shamanic statues.
Namgyal Institute of Tibetology – A world-renowned centre of Tibetan studies, housing rare manuscripts, thangkas, and Buddhist artifacts.

Day 03Excursion to Tsomgo Lake

After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake:
Tsomgo (Changu) Lake – Located at 12,400 ft and 38 km from Gangtok, this glacial lake is known for its serene beauty and spiritual significance.
Optional: Visit Baba Mandir and ride a yak around the lake (subject to weather).
Return to Gangtok in the afternoon.
Evening: Free to relax or shop at MG Marg.

Day 04Gangtok to Lachen (125 km / 6 hrs)

Post breakfast, begin your journey to Lachen (2750m), a quaint mountain village.
En route stops:
Mangan – Scenic town in North Sikkim.
Seven Sisters Waterfalls – A picturesque multi-tiered waterfall.
Naga Waterfall / Vimnala Falls – Known for its powerful cascade.
Chungthang – Confluence of Lachen & Lachung Rivers.

Day 05Lachen Sightseeing – Thangu & Chopta Valley

After early breakfast:
Visit Thangu Village (13,000 ft), known for its alpine meadows and military outposts.
Chopta Valley – Carpeted with wildflowers in summer and snowfields in winter.
Return to hotel for lunch.
Afternoon: Explore Lachen village at leisure.

Day 06Lachen to Lachung (50 km / 2.5 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Lachung (9,600 ft), renowned as the most picturesque village in Sikkim.

Day 07Lachung – Yumthang Valley & Zero Point Excursion

Early morning after breakfast:
Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft) – Known as the Valley of Flowers, it blooms with rhododendrons from April to May.
Yumesamdong / Zero Point (15,300 ft) – A dramatic snowy expanse with views of the Tibetan plateau (subject to permit).
Return to hotel.

Day 08Lachung to Gangtok (120 km / 5 hrs)

Post breakfast, return to Gangtok with en route views of the Eastern Himalayas and Kanchenjunga.
Afternoon: Check-in and free at leisure.

Day 09Gangtok to Pelling (130 km / 5 hrs)

Post breakfast, transfer to Pelling (6,250 ft), known for spectacular views of Kanchenjunga.
